Nominate President Elect

 

Nominations Now Open for President-Elect

The ORPA Board is now accepting nominations for President-Elect of your association.  The President-Elect will serve a 3 year term on the board beginning November 5th, first as President-Elect, then President, and finally as Past-President.  Nominees for President-Elect must be active ORPA members who have served at least 1 year on the board of directors either presently or in the past.  While any member in good standing may nominate a candidate for President-Elect, according to ORPA Bylaws, the current board of directors, by secret ballot, will select the winner from the eligible nominees.

 

Nominations will be accepted from June 11 until June 29 at 4:00 pm.  You may nominate a candidate via phone or email to director@orpa.org.  it is strongly recommended that you have the consent of the nominee prior to the nomination.  Following receipt of all nominations, eligible candidates will be asked to fill out a background summary statement which will be distributed to the board.  This statement is due on July 6, and voting will open to the board on July 9.  The election will close on July 25 with the new President-Elect announced at the July 27 Board Meeting.
