ORPA Board of Directors Meeting

Special Interest Sections
Share |

Reflecting the diverse nature of the parks and recreation profession, ORPA members organize and network around particular areas of interest and professional focus. We call these groups "sections” of ORPA.

ORPA maintains eight special interest sections for member networking, peer-to-peer collaboration, information-sharing, training and education, and special services relevant to professionals in each section. Our sections are led by volunteers who develop and plan relevant and timely training sessions and informational gatherings related to their section’s area of focus. Some sections also present annual awards to projects and leaders in their interest area, and some also offer educational grants to promote continuing education within the field.

Section meetings are open to ORPA members and invited guests. Section trainings are open to members and nonmembers.
