Education & Training
Share |

Each year, ORPA offers a wide range of educational, training, and certification courses to expand the knowledge base of parks and recreation professionals in Oregon. These training sessions are planned and hosted by our Special Interest Section leaders and are designed to address a variety of topics and to provide timely, affordable, and relevant information for ORPA members and others involved with parks and recreation in Oregon.

ORPA's education offerings fall into three primary categories, including

  • Educational Workshops
  • Certification Trainings, such as Certified Playground Safety Inspector and Aquatics Facilities Operator
  • ORPA's Annual Conference, a three-day event held each fall with more than 60 educational sessions and networking opportunities

ORPA members also have the opportunity to enjoy peer-to-peer learning at our section meetings and other member networking events.

To view the latest in ORPA's educational offerings, check our calendar, go to our Annual Conference page, or use the "Education & Training" pull-down menu to view sessions for which we are taking registration.

Last, if you have a suggestion for an ORPA educational topic or event, click here to send us an email.
