Trail Work in the COVID-19 Context

When: May 13, 2020 12:00 PM

How: Registration Here

Stewardship work by professional trails crews and volunteer work parties alike largely came to a halt this Spring during the stay-at-home order and closing of many public lands.

As Oregon trails begin to reopen, trail stewardship partners are anxious to return to work.

Join us for a discussion with some partners who have already done great work examining how public health guidance applies to trail crews, when we may safely restart certain activities, and how things might look different this summer.

Messaging for Hitting the Trail During Covid-19: All Communications Channels and Trail Ambassadors Needed!

When: May 14, 2020 12:00 PM

How: Registration Here

Outdoor recreation during Covid-19 will look different than what we're used to. We can all be a part of learning best practices for ourselves and getting new messages out to the public in ways that are welcoming and inclusive but also serious about protecting public health and safety.
Join us with your questions to learn about messaging being developed by statewide partners to share in all communications channels and best practices for trail ambassadors to educate visitors on site.
