This half-day webinar workshop provides practitioners with up-to-date information on managing invasive species in Oregon.

Participants will learn about many different aspects of invasive species including:

  • Aquatic invasive species identification and control
  • Case study in evolving IPMs
  • Glyphosate risk and communicating risk to the public
  • Incorporating non-chemical plant control into your IPM

 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Field maintenance staff
  • Licensed pesticide applicators

4 ODA Pesticide Applicator Licence Credits

To receive full credit from the Oregon Department of Agriculture we will be following the below guidelines:

  1. Using Zoom
  2. Preregister with your full name and license number.
  3. Once logged on type in the chat box your full name and license number. Do so again at the end of the presentation to confirm attendance.
  4. If you are having a small group join under one login name you must use your microphone or webcam to confirm all participants are there at the beginning and end of the presentation. Please email in advance if you plan to do this and give a list of the expected names in your group. We will need to check-in before presentations start, so plan to log on 15+ before presentations start.
  5. Attendees must be able to participate by typing in the chat box, microphone, or webcam at all times.
