This is a day-long workshop that will cover how to manage current an emerging invasive species, include tips from experts on utilizing integrated pest management, and provide cutting edge techniques to manage invasive species in parks and natural areas.

This workshop qualifies for 6 ODA credits for Licensed Pesticide applicators approved by ODA. 


What You'll Learn

Participants will learn about many different aspects of invasive species including: 

  • Public Communications around approved chemicals and IPM policy
  • Big picture trends - what contracts are seeing on the landscape
  • New and emerging chemicals - life beyond glyphosate
  • Cultural and non-chemical controls for non-plant invasive species
  • Control methods for invasive species
