
This registration is to attend the Certified Playground Safety Inspector Class and/or Exam in JUNE 2020.
Class is June 3-4. Certification exam is June 5. Participants may register for the class and exam, the class only, or the exam only.
The purpose of the CPSI course is to educate participants on national playground standards and guidelines for children aged 2-12 years old and to enable those who successfully complete the course to:
- identify hazards on public playground equipment and the playground;
- rank the hazards according to injury potential;
- apply the knowledge to remove the hazards and establish a system of inspections.

Extra time during the exam can be accommodated for English as a Second Language Candidates. Time extension must be arranged with NRPA at least two-weeks prior to exam. For more information, please refer to the NRPA CPSI Candidate Handbook.

DEADLINE
The deadline for registration is May 3, 2020. Because of the nature of this certification program, materials will be shipped to participants early to allow time for independent study. Late registration limits the time available to ship materials and study, reducing the success rate of passing the exam. Please register as soon as possible to allow time to review materials.
Materials will be shipped to those who register for the class, or class & exam. Those who register for the exam only will not receive materials.
MEALS
Light refreshments will be provided in the morning. Full lunch will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday. No food will be provided on Friday during the exam.

If you are joining us from out of town, you may be interested in lodging.* The Hampton Inn & Suites is close to the Hillsboro Public Library where the CPSI class and exam will take place. They have offered the prevailing per diem for up to 10 rooms starting Tuesday, June 4, ending Thursday, June 6.
