Our Future Parks and Recreation Leaders

The focus of the 2018 Director's retreat will be exploring how Parks and Recreation Directors can contribute to the succession planning by actively supporting and engaging in the development of leaders in their organizations.  Prepare your leaders to move to higher level positions with more complex challenges and responsibilities.

What You Will Learn

Modeling can be the most effective leadership and communication tool, evaluating leadership potential in employees, and providing powerful, appropriate and effective guidance and feedback to emerging leaders.  We will investigate, discuss, and practice these roles in an engaging and memorable day of learning.
