Gloves Required! - This one day workshop will provide a true hands-on experience for both the Probie and the Seasoned Veteran.  Regardless of your Irrigation experience, this training is sure to enlighten and refine your skills.

In addition to great information, attendees will submit their work for approval in order to receive an ASME Bonder Qualification card.*  Learn more about the Weld-On Irrigation Training.

*Qualification may lead to a decrease in incidents and reduced liability insurance premiums.

What You Will Learn

ASME Irrigation Bonder Qualification provided by WeldOn.

A full 2.5 hour training during which time you will assemble a sample to be hydro-statically test to over 600 psi.  Should yours pass this test conducted at the WeldOn labs, you will receive your own ASME Qualification Card.  This training builds upon last year's introductory to Solvent Welding course.

2 Wire - Decoder Systems, the latest systems.

How to properly plan, install, ground, and maintain these simple, yet sophisticated, irrigation control components.

Get the most out of your sprinklers

From the simple, often overlooked, maintenance, to checking operating pressures and determining proper nozzling techniques.  All will be demonstrated and set out for attendees' participation.

Remote Control Valves and Wire Splicing.

Truly hands on as electronic diagnostic tools, wiring parts and pieces, and valves, lots of valves will be made available for the attendees to hone their skills of troubleshooting and repair.  Includes locating and tracing.

Controllers - More than just programming.

Consideration for locations, enclosure types, communications, map development, diagnostics, and yes, programming will be covered.  Each attendee will have practice controllers to work through.  A great refresher and introduction.

Who Should Attend

Any and all Parkies who touch irrigation components.  Whether veteran or newly hired seasonal staff, this Hands On Irrigation Workshop will indeed provide an excellent learning outcome.
