ORPA's Maintenance and Construction Section (MACS) provides information and training to managers and technicians who are responsible for planning, design, and maintenance of park and recreation facilities.  MACS provides networking and training for section affiliates to learn and share important information on maintenance and construction techniques, materials, regulations, and standards.

Contact MACS President Jesus Gonzalez, at Hillsboro Parks & Recreation, to learn more about MACS and to get involved with the section.

Playground Builds

Every year MACS volunteers give back through a volunteer playground installation.  Communities can apply for members of the section to install a playground in a neighborhood in need.

For a great resource guide on how to organize and implement a playground installation project with volunteers, download our Guide to Hosting a Volunteer Playground Installation Project.

To request MACS volunteers' assistance with installation of playground equipment at your facility, use this form: MACS Volunteer Playground Installation Request Form.

For other service project requests: MACS Volunteer Service Project Request Form.
